Lord Narayana Idol

Lord Narayana, the reclining or standing form of Vishnu, is worshipped as the preserver of the universe and is kept at home for peace and protection.

You can order the Lord Narayana Idol online from Poduvals, or see it in person at our Bengaluru store.

Each piece is cast and finished by hand by traditional artisans, so small variations in detail and tone make every piece unique.

Where to keep it and how to use it

Keep the idol in the pooja room facing east or west. Thursdays and Ekadashi are traditionally dedicated to Vishnu.

Care

Wipe it with a soft dry cloth after pooja. Avoid harsh chemical cleaners. A gentle polish with tamarind paste or a mild metal cleaner brings back the shine; after abhishekam, rinse and dry it fully.
