Lord Krishna Idol

Lord Krishna, the flute-playing protector of Vrindavan, is one of the most loved forms of Vishnu, and a Krishna idol brings warmth and joy to any home mandir.

You can order the Lord Krishna Idol online from Poduvals, or see it in person at our Bengaluru store.

Each piece is cast and finished by hand by traditional artisans, so small variations in detail and tone make every piece unique.

Where to keep it and how to use it

Place the idol in the pooja room or the living room, ideally in the north-east. Bal Gopal idols are often kept on a small jhula or singhasan.

Care

Wipe it with a soft dry cloth after pooja. Avoid harsh chemical cleaners. A gentle polish with tamarind paste or a mild metal cleaner brings back the shine; after abhishekam, rinse and dry it fully.
