Fibre Lord Maha Vishnu Idol

Lord Vishnu is worshipped as the preserver of the universe, and a Maha Vishnu idol is kept at home for peace, protection and prosperity.

This Fibre Lord Maha Vishnu Idol is made in fibre (FRP), which makes it much lighter than a metal idol of the same size, so it is easy to place on a high shelf, a wall-mounted mandir or a living room console.

You can order the Fibre Lord Maha Vishnu Idol online from Poduvals, or see it in person at our Bengaluru store.

Where to keep it and how to use it

Keep it in the pooja room facing east or west, or in the living room as a centrepiece. Thursdays and Ekadashi are traditionally dedicated to Vishnu.

Care

Dust it with a soft dry brush or cloth. Do not wash it or use water or chemical cleaners, as this can damage the finish. Keep it away from direct sunlight and lamp flames.

Frequently asked questions

Is a fibre idol suitable for pooja?
Yes. Fibre idols are widely kept for daily darshan and decoration. For abhishekam with water or milk, a metal idol is the better choice.

Why choose a fibre idol?
Fibre is light, does not tarnish and holds fine detail, which makes it ideal for larger idols and wall mandirs.
