Fibre Guruvayurappan Idol

Guruvayurappan, the form of Lord Krishna worshipped at the Guruvayur temple in Kerala, is one of the most beloved deities in Malayali homes.

This Fibre Guruvayurappan Idol is made in fibre (FRP), which makes it much lighter than a metal idol of the same size, so it is easy to place on a high shelf, a wall-mounted mandir or a living room console.

You can order the Fibre Guruvayurappan Idol online from Poduvals, or see it in person at our Bengaluru store.

Frequently asked questions

Is a fibre idol suitable for pooja?
Yes. Fibre idols are widely kept for daily darshan and decoration. For abhishekam with water or milk, a metal idol is the better choice.

Why choose a fibre idol?
Fibre is light, does not tarnish and holds fine detail, which makes it ideal for larger idols and wall mandirs.
